Do not lift plates with a temperature greater than 100ºC. Excessive heat can alter the temper of the high-frequency treated alloy steel, reducing its structural integrity and gripping friction.

Do not use to lift stainess steel, lead or copper. These materials either possess surface hardness characteristics that resist the clamp's teeth or are entirely too soft, leading to dangerous slippage and potential material deformation.
